Thursday Yoga: Setu Bandha Sarvangasana
Setu Bandha Sarvangasana
[Bridge Pose]
[setu = dam or bridge
bandha = lock
sarvangasana = shoulderstand]
Setu Bandha Sarvangasana is a bridge backbend pose that improves spinal flexibility.
For me it really helps to lower my stress levels and a lot of minor aches and pains.
I often find I have an aching back, shoulders and neck after a night out drinking (for who knows what reason! xD), the bridge pose is something I like to try and work in the day after a night out :)

Shopping: ASOS Mini Haul
I decided to buy a new dress for our engagement meal this coming weekend, and of course that means shoes to go with the dress. And maybe just another pair of shoes while I'm shopping for shoes, and a waist belt to glam up my safe black dress option in case the new dress doesn't suit me... Okay so I had a mini spree ^_^ DON'T JUDGE!
Firstly, my new dress:
And of course some flats to match:
Some more shoes ^0^ :
And a waist belt:
I also bought some Eyelure Pre-Glued Lashes.
I'll be posting a review in the days to come ^-^

My Commitment-Free haircut!
I change my hair sooo often and this time I opted for a cute bob ^.^
BUT! I've been trying to grow my hair for such a long time and I didn't want to ruin all my hard work!!
Luckily! I found a solution for this problem :)
1. I bought some nice extensions.
My favourite brand is Halo Extensions. They look very real and they last
a good while with proper care.
They also come in really cute packaging ^_^ and I got a little card too!
For me, one pack was enough because my hair has fairly choppy layers and
I only needed extensions to hide the longest layer of my hair.
2. I cut the extensions to the width I needed, in my case I only used half.
The other half I will save for next time! :)
2. I braided the long layer of hair that I would otherwise have cut and attached the extensions.
(sewing method - and actually I had some help from a friend, I find it a little tricky to do alone!)
3. Cutting my extensions.
I find it easier to cut extensions after they are installed. I'm pretty confident cutting my own hair, but there are plenty of internet tutorials, or you could even pop to the salon if you don't mind spending the money.
Most hairdressers will cut extensions just like your own hair :)
The finished look!
Easy :)
